As a Support Worker, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our production operations at the Strathpine Printing Centre maintain exceptional quality while adhering to client timelines. You will play a crucial role in supporting our team of over 50 employees with disabilities, focusing on mentoring and skill development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mail Operations: Manage intricate mail merges and prepare materials for production, ensuring effective collaboration with postal and courier services.
  • Printing Management: Prepare and operate printing machinery and office equipment to achieve high-quality output.
  • Team Development: Engage in mentoring and coaching activities to foster the professional growth of our staff.
  • Digital Proficiency: Apply your expertise in digital printing software to improve workflow efficiency.
  • Personal Assistance: Provide tailored support and personal care to ensure the well-being of all team members.
  • Safety Compliance: Maintain safety standards to ensure a secure working environment for everyone.

Qualifications:

  • NDIS Familiarity: Knowledge of NDIS funding and support services is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office are essential.
  • Relevant Qualifications: A Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or equivalent experience is required.
  • First Aid Certification: Preferred but not mandatory.
  • Clearance: Willingness to obtain necessary clearance is essential.
