The role of Data Architect is a key position within our organization, responsible for designing and implementing data solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
This individual will be part of a team that provides technical expertise to make our customers successful. They will work directly with customers and system integrators to deploy our data platform, providing guidance on how to resolve customer-specific technical challenges.
We are looking for a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and has a passion for solving unique technology problems. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of skills and experience, including data architecture, ETL, security, performance analysis, analytics, and database management.
The Data Architect will be responsible for maintaining deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors, and will work with product management, engineering, and marketing teams to continuously improve our products and marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement data solutions that meet customer needs
- Provide technical expertise to customers and system integrators
- Maintain deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and marketing teams
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a technical role
- University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields
- Outstanding presentation skills, both technical and executive audiences
- Strong skills in databases, data warehouses, and data processing
- Extensive hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics
- Experience selling data and/or analytics software to enterprise customers
- Ability and flexibility to travel up to 75%
- Experience with non-relational platforms and tools for large-scale data processing
- Familiarity with common BI and data exploration tools
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure-as-a-service platforms
- Experience implementing ETL pipelines using custom and packaged tools
