We are seeking a skilled Gardening Support Specialist to join our team at Chorus. As a Support Worker specialising in Gardening & Home Maintenance, you will provide essential services to seniors and NDIS customers to help them stay in their own homes longer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide gardening and maintenance services to customers in their homes, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with volunteers and other team members to deliver high-quality services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Conduct home assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop personalized plans to meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with other services to provide comprehensive support to customers, including domestic assistance, social support, and group activities.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in gardening or a related field is essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with people of varying skills and abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Basic computer and paperwork skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • A safety-first approach, with a commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of customers, volunteers, and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • A Certificate in Horticulture or a related field is highly desirable.
Prerequisites
  • A NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • A current Western Australian Drivers Licence with no restrictions.
  • Your own vehicle.
  • Rights to work in Australia.
  • A current First Aid Certificate with 12 months or less currency.
