Senior Portfolio Strategist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced portfolio strategist to contribute to the construction, management and oversight of our global government bond portfolio.
About This RoleThis role involves delivering investment recommendations to support the portfolio's performance and cost objectives. It also requires developing and maintaining investment processes and tools, including quantitative models, to support the investment strategy.
Your Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality investment recommendations to support the portfolio's performance and cost objectives.
- Develop and maintain investment processes and tools, including quantitative models, to support the investment strategy.
- Conduct research and analysis on new and alternative investment strategies, including backtesting of quantitative models.
- Manage portfolio and compliance-related risks, adhering to policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with Capital Markets teams to implement portfolio investment decisions.
- Experience in the financial sector, preferably in institutional investment or banking.
- Strong quantitative analysis and modelling skills, proficiency in Python/R and related toolkits.
- Research and portfolio management experience in fixed income portfolios generating alpha through security selection and relative value strategies.
- Knowledge of instruments across rates and currency, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Organisation and communication skills, ability to synthesise complex information and learn from team initiatives.
