**Maintenance Craftsman Opportunity**

We are seeking skilled tradespeople to join our maintenance team in the inner western suburbs of Melbourne.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with food processing equipment.

Responsibilities include:

- Addressing and resolving issues associated with planned and unplanned maintenance tasks

- Pursuing continuous improvement of plant equipment and systems

- Collaborating with management on maintenance and equipment matters

- Emphasizing quality and safety standards

Required skills and qualifications include:

- Trade certification
- In-depth knowledge of food safety procedures
- Relevant work experience, preferably in a similar environment
- Proficiency in welding techniques, including MIG and TIG
- Familiarity with electrical components and possession of a disconnect/connect license
- Strong fault-finding abilities and pneumatics knowledge
- General machining and fabrication skills

Benefits of this role include an attractive hourly rate and opportunities for overtime pay and penalty rates.

Additionally, we require applicants to have a valid driver's license and be able to commute to Kensington, VIC 3031.

Work authorization is preferred to be Australia-based, and ability to commute from Kensington is mandatory.

This is an in-person position.
