We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Design and evaluate infrastructure requirements to meet future demand
- Provide expert technical support for project build, test, and solution deployment activities
- Prepare and maintain documentation, including design documentation, implementation plans, test plans, and support procedures
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategies, operational policy, and procedures, as well as change initiatives
- Participate in change management processes and communicate the end-to-end implications of configuration changes
As a Senior Gateway Engineer, you will exercise a considerable degree of independence, with decision-making substantially dependent on high-level judgment and wider agency considerations. You will work closely with key third-party suppliers to ensure a robust gateway infrastructure capability for the business, and liaise with architecture and shared services areas to ensure the security of day-to-day technical operations.
We require a candidate with at least five years of demonstrated experience in the design, management, and maintenance of internet gateway and/or large-scale data centre networking environments. You should have demonstrated experience and technical proficiency in the design of services utilising F5/Blue Coat Layer 4-7 switching/load balancing and proxy systems, as well as Cisco Data Centre technologies like Cisco ACI, Cisco Routers, nexus switches, routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
Requirements- At least five years of demonstrated experience in the design, management, and maintenance of internet gateway and/or large-scale data centre networking environments
