Lead Cyber Security Specialist

The role of Lead Cyber Security Specialist is a senior leadership position that requires setting and driving the organization's Cyber Risk strategy. This involves consultation with the global Cyber practice to ensure alignment and effective implementation.

This specialist will take ownership of the Cyber Insurance and Consulting services pipeline, leading and managing the conversion of identified new business targets for cyber insurance and consulting.

  • Pipeline Management: The candidate will be responsible for managing the Cyber Insurance and Consulting services pipeline, identifying opportunities for growth and ensuring timely execution.
  • Proposal Development: They will develop and present proposals to clients for risk consulting and/or insurance, owning the Cyber content in tender proposals and participating in tender pitches.
  • Cyber Content Creation: The specialist will create compelling Cyber content for tender proposals, highlighting the value of the organization's offerings in protecting organizations from cyber threats.
  • Incident Response: They will engage with insurers to maximize their offering and contribute to incident response panels, delivering insurance risk transfer solutions to clients through strong insurer connectivity and broker negotiations.
  • Team Leadership: The Lead Cyber Security Specialist will lead the team to execute and manage Cyber Risk consulting services, including cyber incident readiness assessments, threat simulations, resilience evaluations, and/or risk profiling.
Key Requirements
  • Senior Executive Experience: The candidate must have experience engaging with senior executives and developing relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, along with the ability to present complex information effectively.
  • Time Management: Strong time management skills and proven experience working in high-pressure environments are required.
  • Teamwork: A strong work ethic and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are essential.
  • Cyber Knowledge: In-depth knowledge and experience working within the Cyber risk space, including IT security, legal, fraud, risk accounting, or compliance backgrounds, are necessary.
  • Leadership: The candidate must be confident in presenting to Boards and 'C' suite executives on Cyber resilience and risk prevention strategies.
