Water Modelling Opportunities

As a Water Modeller, you will be part of a dynamic pipeline of strategic planning projects. You will work with our team to model potable water, wastewater, recycled water, and surface water supply systems.

In this role, you will build and calibrate hydrological and hydraulic models for water and wastewater networks and water resource systems. You will also analyse and assess hydrologic, hydraulic, GIS, and survey data using software such as ArcGIS or QGIS.

  • Develop and validate hydrological and hydraulic models for water and wastewater networks and water resource systems
  • Analyse and evaluate hydrologic, hydraulic, GIS, and survey data
  • Utilise GIS software such as ArcGIS or QGIS
  • Conduct modelling investigations, options assessments, master planning, growth and development studies, and operational/control systems design and validation
  • Communicate model development and outcomes with stakeholders
  • Collaborate with other team members to deliver systems investigations, planning studies, feasibility, and strategy studies
About Your Skills
  • You hold a Bachelor of Civil or Environmental Engineering (or another relevant qualification) with five years or more of relevant work experience.
  • You have a solid foundation in water and wastewater network hydraulics and/or water resource systems theory.
  • You have experience using modelling software such as InfoWorks, MIKE, Source, or Wathnet.
  • You have a proven track record of delivering successful modelling projects in a consulting environment.
