Job Description:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data protection program that addresses the needs of multiple business lines across various jurisdictions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data protection requirements are integrated into all aspects of the organization.
  • Provide guidance on data protection best practices and ensure that employees understand their roles and responsibilities in protecting sensitive information.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and advise the organization on changes to data protection laws and regulations.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and regulators, to resolve data protection-related issues.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in data protection or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as law, business, or computer science.
  • Strong knowledge of data protection regulations, including GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
