Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement best practice standards for transportation compliance
  • Conduct audits and training across all divisions to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Provide detailed system reports to drive transportation governance excellence
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to uphold high standards
  • Stay informed of legislative changes and assess their potential impact on our systems and processes
  • Assist in identifying training needs and supporting the planning and delivery of compliance training
  • Participate in coaching and training provided by Transport Compliance Advisors to deepen understanding of our systems, policies, and procedures
  • Contribute to the development of company documentation, ensuring compliance with load restraint, driver licensing, fatigue management, vehicle maintenance, and other regulatory requirements
  • Assist in investigations led by Transport Compliance or QHSE Advisors when required, contributing to safety improvements and corrective actions
  • Deliver transport-related training, including company-developed NHVAS packages, Learning Events, and Safety Guidance Notes, within your scope of expertise
  • Conduct regular site visits focused on improving the safety of transportation loading and unloading processes across our sites
  • Understand Accreditation Schemes and support the auditing regime, ensuring ongoing compliance with requirements
  • Assist in evaluating, trialling, and implementing digital processes and platforms that integrate with our existing Integrated Safety Management Systems

Requirements:

  • Experience in transportation operations, with a focus on compliance
  • Participation in audits and delivery of communications and toolbox talks
  • Understanding of Chain of Responsibility, fatigue, and mass management, load restraint, or a combination of these
  • Proficient in MS Office, with excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • Training and coaching abilities
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle (travel reimbursed per km)
