We are seeking a highly skilled In-Room Dining Experience Expert to join our team at W Melbourne. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

About the Role

  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our menu offerings, including dietary options, to provide tailored recommendations to our guests.
  • Engage guests in conversation, sharing information about their stay, property services, and venue/hotel offerings to create a personalized experience.
  • Inspect cleanliness and presentation of china, glass, and silver before use, ensuring high standards of quality and attention to detail.
  • Complete closing duties, including storing reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations, locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing daily cleaning checklists.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Foster a positive working relationship with colleagues and adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, providing clear and professional communication at all times.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors to support the success of our team.
