We are seeking a skilled Interior Design Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert guidance and assistance to clients throughout the design process, ensuring their dream home is brought to life.
The Interior Design Consultant will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, interpreting their requirements to create bespoke interior and external designs that meet their individual taste and style.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with clients to deliver tailored design solutions;
- Interpreting client needs and creating detailed design concepts and contract documents;
- Providing on-the-spot pricing and estimating;
- Working collaboratively with other disciplines to ensure seamless project delivery;
- Maintaining accurate records of all revisions and reselections.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role;
- Certificate in Interior Design and Decoration or relevant tertiary qualification;
- Strong communication and customer service skills;
- Ability to read and understand floor plans and housing contracts;
- Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, codes, and industry trends.
