Senior Research Scientist

As a Senior Research Bioinformatician, you will be working closely with our research teams to design and implement cutting-edge bioinformatics solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with researchers to develop and apply novel bioinformatics tools and methods.
- Designing and implementing large-scale data analysis pipelines.
- Providing expert advice on experimental design and statistical analysis.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A PhD in a quantitative discipline (e.g. bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, statistics) or a science discipline (e.g. biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics/genomics) with a strong quantitative component.
- Research experience in statistical genomics, computational biology or bioinformatics, with high competency in the statistical or computational analysis of large datasets.
- Expertise in Unix-based systems, computing clusters, modern scripting/programming languages including R and Python.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with colleagues at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
