Expert Economic Advisor

The role of the Senior Consultant - Economics is to deliver high-quality economic advisory services, manage complex projects, and develop strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a background in economics, experience in the Water sector, and excellent analytical and communication skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead small to medium-sized economic advisory projects from inception to completion.
  • Support the technical lead on complex projects and proposals.
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports and deliverables across all stages of a project lifecycle.
  • Ensure consistency in accuracy and timely output of work.
  • Conduct economic and financial analysis, modelling, and strategy development.
  • Deliver advisory services, including cost-benefit analysis, regulatory economic advice, and policy evaluation.
  • Develop meaningful and innovative ideas, solutions, and strategies for our clients.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics or a related field.
  • 5 –8 years of relevant experience in economic advisory, preferably within a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or leading multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines.
  • Strong technical foundation in economic analysis, cost-benefit analysis, regulatory advice, and policy evaluation.
  • Proven track record of producing high-quality, client-facing deliverables.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, and ability to learn new systems and software quickly.
