Our company operates globally, with a diverse range of natural resources and commodities. Our operations comprise of around 150 mining, metallurgical and oil production assets.

About the role

Your main goal will be to ensure that our business units have access to the necessary products and services at the right time and price. You will do this by working closely with internal customers to understand their needs and then utilizing our internal and external partners to deliver those outcomes.

  • Contribute to strategy development for relevant sourcing activities.
  • Assist in developing and/or coordinating scope of work writing for contracts;
  • Assist in developing evaluation scorecards and where required participate in technical evaluations of tenders;
  • Manage the contract register ensuring projects are executed in time to replace expiring contracts;
  • Establish and manage relationships with internal stakeholders by being the key point for end user queries;
  • Evaluate escalations, invoice adherence and budget compliance is properly reviewed;
  • Assist and guide regarding pricing escalations and adjustments;
Key Responsibilities:
  • Tertiary qualification in commercial, legal or engineering related field;
  • Several years' experience in contract management, supply chain or commercial team;
  • Experience in drafting and/or managing contracts, major equipment contracts, site services and support contracts;
  • Extensive experience using computerised ERP systems; SAP and/or Coupa usage is highly regarded;
  • Ability to work with remote team members across different time zones;
