Data Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team in a critical role that requires strong analytical skills and the ability to translate insights into actionable decisions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with a team of passionate engineers and analysts, managing and reporting on high-performance data. They will liaison with stakeholders to determine what reports and dashboards need to be built, created and maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with stakeholders to determine calculations and reports
  • Work closely with Business Analysts to ensure accuracy of data and reports
  • Liaise with the data engineering squad to ensure data availability
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis

Requirements:

  • Experience translating insights into business decisions
  • Strong understanding of statistics and analytical methods
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas in simple terms
  • Competency in SQL and experience with big data query engines
  • Experienced in data visualization tools
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
