Retirement Village Manager Position Overview

We have two permanent full-time roles available for a Retirement Village Manager in SE QLD locations.

  • De La Salle Village Southport and Jabiru Villas Arundel (Gold Coast residents with local knowledge should apply)

You will report to our Operations Manager and be responsible for managing daily operations and supporting resident wellbeing.

  • Manage daily operations, including maintenance, gardening standards, financial performance, safety, and security
  • Enhance resident satisfaction by fostering a dynamic and inclusive community built on professionalism, mutual respect, and open communication
  • Own compliance processes for the village, performing scheduled audits, checklists, and administrative activities
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, residents, staff, contractors, and suppliers

With your knowledge of retirement village living, strong attention to detail, and commendable work ethic, you will build community pride and trust.

  • Prior operational experience in Retirement Living is essential
  • Customer service and managerial experience are highly regarded
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Word and Excel) are required
  • Able to work autonomously, manage workload, and achieve objectives
  • Maintain collaborative and effective relationships with multidisciplinary team members
  • Confident communication style with a supportive and compassionate nature
  • Excellent verbal and written skills are necessary
  • High level of financial literacy and strong sales process focus
