Key Responsibilities:

* Create a range of high-quality digital environments within a tight timeline and with minimal supervision
* Establish shaders and lighting setups that look convincing and render efficiently
* Source suitable reference materials for required assets
* Participate in rounds and attend dailies for your show and engage in creative conversations with show leads and artists from other departments
* Interpret and respond to client and supervisor feedback with minimal direction from your Lead
* Mentor more junior Artists and assist them with their shots
* Participate and engage with the Generalist team as a whole and contribute to our inclusive, supportive and collaborative culture
* Help to develop and test tools and techniques before they are rolled out to shot artists
* Be prepared to lead a sequence of shots and create the look that the rest of the team follows

Requirements:

* Degree and 7 years relevant professional experience
* Proven ability in multiple CG techniques, including: modeling, texturing, shading, lighting, look development, matte painting or compositing
* Excellent communication and team-oriented thinking
* Demonstrated ability to quickly pick up new software
* Fluent in some or all of these software packages: Nuke, 3dsMax, Maya, Houdini Solaris and Renderman and/or Vray renderer. Comparable software experience considered
* Good working knowledge of specialist tools and plugins like Photoshop, Speedtree, zBrush, Substance Painter, Gaea etc
