Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, enabling them to effectively supervise and direct site workers and contractors.

  • Read, interpret, and implement plans related to infrastructure maintenance and construction.
  • Maintain and construct various public assets such as roads, footpaths, drainage systems, parks, and flood mitigation structures.
  • Operate and maintain a range of plant items and equipment including trucks, tractors, and rollers.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies in the community, ensuring timely interventions.
  • Guarantee safety, quality, and compliance across all tasks assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • School Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum two years' experience in construction and/or maintenance activities.
  • Current Class MR Driver's Licence.
  • New South Wales General Construction Induction Card (Whitecard) or acceptable interstate alternative.
  • 'Traffic Controller' and 'Implement Traffic Control Plans' certifications or willingness to obtain.
