Support Worker Role in Green Point, NSW

The Well Team Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Green Point, NSW. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients with mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive domestic assistance, including household cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and medication reminders.

- Facilitate community access, assisting with daily chores such as doctor's appointments, events, or outings.

- Bring experience in supporting clients with mental health challenges, employing a compassionate and understanding approach.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hoist training certification
  • Food handling and hygiene standards knowledge
  • Manual handling and ergonomic techniques expertise
  • Medication handling and administration skills
  • Electric wheelchair handling and mobility facilitation
  • Empathy, patience, adaptability, and communication skills
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience working with the NDIS
