About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operational Leader to join our team at 3R Truck Service as a Perioperative Services Manager. This is a key managerial role that requires strong leadership and operational management skills to lead and manage the Operating and Angiography Suite.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Operational Management: Provide strategic leadership and operational management of Perioperative services, including the management of all Nursing, administrative, and support staff within the Operating Suite.
  • Resource Utilization: Utilize resources to ensure effective and efficient management of the operating suite, in line with best practice and relevant policies and guidelines.
  • Financial and Operational Performance: Ensure the service operates within a robust set of financial and operational performance targets, delivering on relevant KPIs set for the service.
  • Team Management: Directly manage all Nurse Unit Managers, Nurse Educators, and Clinical Nurse Consultants in Perioperative services.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Perioperative Suite, with a strong background in operational management and leadership.
  • Clinical Knowledge: Exceptional, relevant clinical knowledge and management expertise.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to motivate and lead others.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Registration: Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Commitment to Best-Practice Care: A commitment to delivering best-practice person-centered care.
