Job Description

A highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Pump Fitter is required to join a dynamic team in Unanderra.

  • Responsibilities include the repair, maintenance, and testing of all types of pumps, including submersible, multistage, slurry, piston, split case, vacuum, positive displacement, centrifugal, and E-One pumps.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying defective or worn mechanical components or equipment and implementing effective solutions to ensure operational standards are met.
  • Furthermore, the Mechanical Pump Fitter will utilize tools and engineering techniques to maintain and repair mechanical plant machinery and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Pump Fitter.
  • Proven pump repair experience is essential for this role.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team are required.
  • A hard work ethic and commitment to delivering results are essential qualities for this position.
  • Laser aligning experience is a desirable asset for the successful candidate.

Working Conditions:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:00pm.
  • Friday: Flexi day from 7:30am to 12:00pm.
  • Overtime may be required on an ad-hoc basis.
