Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to fill the role of Technical Alignment Manager. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering increased value and efficiency for our clients through the proper analysis and fixing of problems in their technology environment.

About the Role:

  • You will act as the hands-on IT Infrastructure manager for a number of clients, standardizing their IT environments and making them more stable and capable.
  • You will identify and communicate risks and improvement opportunities in the IT environment to our account managers.
  • You will create and maintain a standardization infrastructure audit checklist to ensure high standards are met.
  • You will build capability within the organization by defining, uplifting, and improving the standards that we implement across various infrastructure devices.
  • You will be responsible for technical alignment (identification and remediation) to reduce client incidents/tickets and the time spent addressing them.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients as an onsite technical resource.
  • Identifying risks and sales opportunities to feed back into the delivery team.
  • Providing proactive potential problem identification and remediation aligned with ITIL Problem Management.
  • Maintaining reliable vehicle for site visits (vehicle allowance/reimbursements provided).

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong experience across various technologies, including MS Windows Server Administration, Exchange Server, SQL Server Administration, Hyper-V & VMWare Administration, Networking Skills, and Troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with creating, documenting, and implementing standardization across client environments.
  • Familiarity with service ticketing systems, remote monitoring & management systems, and documentation systems.
