The Role

  • This position focuses on building and maintaining Pega applications to ensure technical implementation meets business requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development and maintenance of Pega applications according to specifications.
  • Provide level 3 technical support for Pega built applications, including implementing fixes.
  • Modify workflows, data models, and user interfaces as needed.
  • Design and execute test cases to validate functionality.
  • Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
  • Document technical designs and implementation approaches.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Architects to understand project requirements.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to address technical issues.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Agile environments.
  • Understanding of case management and decision management principles.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Able to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Testing and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build strong professional relationships.
  • Clear written and oral communication skills, with the ability to influence effectively and concisely.
  • Current or eligibility for Baseline Security Clearance through AGSVA.
  • Bachelor's degree in Programming, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Background in software development or technical implementation.
  • Experience working on multiple Pega projects or implementations.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle.
  • Experience working in the government/public sector.
