System Architect Job Description

We are seeking an experienced System Architect to join our team at the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the building and maintaining of Pega applications, including level 3 troubleshooting of applications, focusing on technical implementation and ensuring solutions meet business requirements.

  • Assist with the building and maintaining of Pega applications according to specifications
  • Level 3 technical support of Pega built applications and implement fixes
  • Modify workflows, data models, and user interfaces
  • Design and execute test cases to validate functionality
  • Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing
  • Document technical designs and implementation approaches
  • Work closely with Business Architects to understand requirements
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to address technical issues
Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide level 3 technical support for Pega built applications, identify and resolve complex issues
  • Application Development: Assist in building and maintaining Pega applications, following established specifications and best practices
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with Business Architects to design and implement process improvements, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Quality Assurance: Design and execute test cases to validate application functionality, ensuring high-quality deliverables
Requirements:
  • Technical Skills: Proven experience with Pega development tools, software development lifecycle, and Agile methodologies
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Collaboration: Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, ability to work closely with cross-functional teams
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
