About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Auditor to join our team in the Training Regulation, Security Licensing & Enforcement Command. The successful candidate will be responsible for regulating security industry training and assessment by conducting audits of Registered Training Organisations that are approved under the Security Industry Act 1997.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct audits of Registered Training Organisations to ensure compliance with the Security Industry Act 1997 and relevant regulations.
  • Review and assess training and assessment programs to ensure they meet industry standards.
  • Identify and report on non-compliance issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement effective audit strategies.
  • Provide expert advice on security industry training and assessment to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (either TAE40116, TAE40122 or TAE40110 with additional units TAELLN411 – 'Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills' and TAEASS502 – 'Design and develop assessment tools').
  • Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a related field, preferably in a regulatory or compliance role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and report on non-compliance issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
