This is a full-time leadership role in Deception Bay. You will manage and support our employees and health care professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • You will be responsible for dealing with all day-to-day operational requirements of running a professional medical centre.
  • This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the medical centre.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues while driving continuous improvement
  • Monitor clinic safety, compliance, and adherence to SOPs and accreditation standards
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of staff
  • Oversee rosters, budgets, and inventory to support efficient clinic operations
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and foster a patient-focused culture
  • Facilitate team meetings, performance reviews, and staff development initiatives
  • Collaborate with regional and national managers and key internal stakeholders
  • Support the implementation of new systems, tools, and process improvements
Requirements:
  • Proven leadership and management experience ideally in the healthcare industry
  • Qualification in business administration or diploma of practice management preferred
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills
  • A passion for people and a personable approach
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in using clinical software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and needs
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Medicare billing processes or healthcare compliance (desirable)
