The role of a Data Scientist/Data Migration Specialist is to work on complex projects, transformations, data migrations and other programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing data migration plans, strategies and procedures.
  • Extracting, transforming and loading (ETL) data using ETL tools and scripting languages like SQL.
  • MAPPING AND RECONCILING DATA FIELDS BETWEEN SOURCE AND TARGET SYSTEMS.
  • Implementing data validation and testing procedures to ensure data accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have experience with data migration projects and ETL processes, proficiency in SQL and data transformation techniques, knowledge of data mapping, reconciliation, validation and data quality concepts, as well as the ability to document data migration procedures and configurations.
