Job Title:

Business Intelligence Analyst/ Data Integration Specialist

Job Summary:

This role involves the design and development of high-quality business intelligence solutions in support of organizational requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience with data integration tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop data integration applications that extract, transform, and load (ETL) data into data warehouses and Data Lake.
  • Conduct analysis, design, development, prototyping, testing, and maintenance activities in a Teradata EDW environment.
  • Develop complex SQL programs within a Teradata EDW environment to build and maintain automated data integration applications.
  • Perform technical evaluations to support project proposals with proposed solutions.
  • Ensure exceptional data quality and high standards in Management Information solutions.
  • Design and develop ETL solutions using industry-standard tools such as SQL Assistant, Teradata Studio Viewpoint, Pcom, and Control-M.
  • Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical staff using clear and concise language.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated 4+ years' experience in at least one of the following tools: Teradata SQL Assistant, Teradata Studio.
  • Working knowledge of languages such as SQL, Unix, Linux, and/or JCL.
  • Excellent written communication skills to explain complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proven experience in ETL to Teradata environments.
  • Experience in designing and delivering data analytics solutions for large and complex projects.

NB: Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must be an Australian citizen with baseline clearance or have the ability to obtain and maintain it.
