Job Summary

Citi is seeking a highly skilled Finance and Legal Entity Analyst to join our team on a 15-month fixed-term parental leave cover. As a key member of our Finance department, you will be responsible for providing critical support to our governance and compliance functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide risk and controls analysis for the Finance department, with a focus on regulatory reporting and legal entity management.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Citi's risk and control framework, financial reporting systems, and processes.
  • Identify and analyze control weaknesses, providing recommendations for improvement and implementation.
  • Support the development and maintenance of controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other business units and functions to resolve finance-related issues.
  • Provide timely updates on governance matters to the Finance management team.
  • Manage Continuity of Business (COB) requirements for the Finance department.
  • Manage Finance Records Management requirements.
  • Assist with ensuring Financial Accountability Regime (FAR) requirements are met by the CFO and delegates.
  • Monitor and report on regulation changes and management for the Finance team.
  • Produce quarterly business monitoring surveys for Internal Audit (BMQS).
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in risk and controls and/or audit.
  • Proven accounting knowledge, particularly in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate across various levels.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Qualified or part-qualified CPA/CA preferred.
