Senior Financial Systems Manager

The role of the Finance and ICT Manager is a strategic position that requires a unique blend of financial acumen, IT expertise, and leadership skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the preparation of annual financial statements, coordinating the external audit process, and managing financial forecasts, budgets, and models to support strategic planning and informed decision-making.
Key responsibilities include providing high-level financial reporting and analysis to executive management, monitoring and managing cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity and efficient use of funds, identifying and assessing financial risks, and implementing appropriate controls and mitigation strategies.
The Finance and ICT Manager will also be responsible for leading and managing the organisation's cybersecurity strategy, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safeguarding data integrity and confidentiality. Additionally, they will oversee the strategic planning, implementation, and maintenance of information technology systems to support business operations.
The ideal candidate will have at least 4-5 years of experience in finance, IT systems, or business management/commerce, as well as a tertiary qualification in business management, commerce, or finance. They should possess high-quality report writing and development skills, as well as the ability to present to board and committees. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
