At Fitness First, we are seeking a driven and customer-focused Fitness Consultant to join our team.

As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in driving membership growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences. With a strong focus on community outreach and relationship-building, you will inspire individuals to take action towards achieving their health and wellness goals.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about fitness and customer service to develop their skills and advance their career in the industry.

Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is between $60,000-$65,000, comprised of a base salary and commission, plus superannuation.

About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for generating and converting high-quality sales leads through proactive outreach activities, referrals, and identifying new business opportunities.
  • You will provide sales presentations and tours to prospective members, showcasing the benefits of our fitness programs and services.
  • You will work closely with existing members to understand their needs and preferences, providing personalized support and recommendations to enhance their fitness journey.
  • You will achieve successful outcomes to enquiries, resolve any issues or concerns, and maintain accurate records of interactions.
  • You will contribute to club sales budget utilization through effective use of sales promotions and referral campaigns.
  • You will participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in areas such as sales techniques, customer service, and communication strategies.

Requirements:

  • You hold a current First Aid & CPR certificate.
  • You possess a problem-solving mindset, able to provide solutions that meet the needs of our potential members.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • You are a goal-focused individual, driven to excel in your role and committed to delivering results.
  • You are a team player, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
