Job Title: Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our team at Jaycar Electronics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales to achieve and exceed budget for your store.
  • Emphasize technical, merchandising, and sales techniques to grow sales within the store.
  • Focus on store development and implementation of set activities for your store.
  • Communicate sales budgets to your team and refocus as required.
  • Lead by example through all store procedures to ensure the store is managed effectively.
  • Provide training to and support the development of your team members.
  • Identify and manage areas of underperformance in store and work with your team and Area Manager to improve their skills.
  • Manage general store expenses, petty cash, and expenditure.
  • Rostering and payroll approval responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Previous store management experience in retail to lead your team to success.
  • A passion for electronics to enhance the customer experience.
  • Confident communication skills to support customers and team members appropriately.
  • Excellent time management skills and experience in dealing with multiple priorities.
  • A drive to succeed and grow within the business.
