Nursery Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and diligent individual to join our team as a nursery assistant.

This role is responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of nursery operations, ensuring the efficient production and maintenance of seedlings, and their successful dispatch to farms.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess a strong commitment to workplace health and safety practices.

The position involves a range of tasks including:

  • Assisting in the planning and conducting of nursery work
  • Producing and maintaining high-quality seedlings
  • Dispatching seedlings and plantlets to farms in a timely manner
  • Maintaining accurate records of inventory, equipment usage, and other relevant data
  • Ensuring all tools and equipment are properly maintained and free from pests and diseases
