Director of Faculty

This senior leadership position is responsible for leading the Design and Technology faculty and driving excellence in teaching and learning.

The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of evidence-based best practice in teaching and learning, excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, and the ability to lead and manage a dynamic team to deliver high-quality curriculum that maximises student achievement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing effective leadership in a diverse range of educational settings
• Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff, students and the wider community
• Managing staff, physical and financial resources

The successful applicant will be expected to have an excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Technologies Curriculum and be able to teach across Years 7 to 12. In addition, they should have teaching expertise in at least one Technologies area (Digital Technologies, Design and Technology, or Home Economics) and have a comprehensive knowledge of the full range of Technologies courses including General, Vocational education and training (VET) and Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR).
