We are currently seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Gambling Counsellor.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced counsellor to work with individuals, families, and community members affected by gambling harm. Our team provides free, confidential, and non-judgmental counselling and support via face-to-face, telephone, and online modalities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide therapeutic counselling to clients across various settings and formats.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual needs and goals.
  • Deliver services in line with established program frameworks and guidelines.
  • Facilitate group support sessions to address gambling harm in the community.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
Requirements for Success
  • Degree in Psychology or related field with Counselling qualifications.
  • Current membership of a relevant professional body.
  • Proven experience in therapeutic counselling, including assessment and case planning.
  • A strong understanding of gambling-related harm and its impact.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
