Workshop Operations Manager Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workshop Operations Manager to oversee the daily activities of our workshop.

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our operations. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our vehicles and equipment are always in top condition, compliant with regulatory requirements, and ready to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily workshop operations, including managing team staffing levels, performance, and training.
  • Coordinate with internal customers to meet vehicle and equipment availability requirements.
  • Maintain accurate paperwork processes and control workshop cost centre budgets.
  • Participate in operations meetings and contribute to the development of strategic plans.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need strong mechanical aptitude, excellent organisation and planning skills, and the ability to supervise and motivate personnel. A Heavy Diesel Mechanic Transport Trade Qualification is essential.
