Responsibilities Include:
  • Assisting individuals with disabilities, along with their families and/or carers, to identify their needs through assessment and person-centred planning.
  • Evaluating, developing, and delivering evidence-based support plans within a complex support environment.
  • Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies utilizing a positive behaviour support framework, with a commitment to eliminating restrictive practices, in the home and community.
  • Ensuring individual plans reflect the goals, passions, and strengths of individuals with disabilities, as well as ensuring they have more opportunities in life.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2 Years Experience in the NDIS sector
  • Current Registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
  • Active ABN
  • Relevant Insurance including Public Liability, Professional Indemnity Insurance, and Comprehensive Car Insurance.
  • Police Clearance, Working With Vulnerable People Check, and NDIS Screener.
