About your role:

We are expanding our team and would love to welcome an experienced and dynamic Occupational Therapist eager to make a difference and contribute to best practice. You'll bring expertise, maturity and strong time management and organisational skills to the role.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage an allocated caseload (based on your negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services.
  • Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments.
  • Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life.
  • Mentor and nurture early career clinicians.
  • Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Current general registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload.
  • A pro-active attitude and interest in continually developing your skills.
  • Experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists.
  • A genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
