About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Veterinary Surgical Nurse to join our team at Greencross Limited. As a key member of our Surgery Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our veterinary surgeons and other hospital staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the care of hospitalised patients in the Surgery Department, including anaesthetic management, diagnostic tests, and theatre nursing.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, referring veterinarians, and other hospital staff to ensure seamless patient care and management.
  • Work collaboratively with our experienced nursing team to provide high-quality patient care and support.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest surgical techniques and best practices.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in nursing (or equivalent qualification) is a prerequisite.
  • Experience in a multi-specialist facility is highly regarded, but not essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
