Teaching Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality educational content as per Australian Curriculum and school guidelines
  • Ensure a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
  • Be flexible and responsive to the needs of various classrooms and student cohorts
  • Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and school leadership
  • Adhere to school policies on student behaviour and welfare
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Passion for teaching and strong knowledge of current Australian curriculum standards
  • Christ-centred approach to pedagogy
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or Graduate Diploma if holding a degree in a different field
  • Registration with the QLD College of Teachers (QCT) or ability to obtain QCT Registration
  • Alignment with the college's mission, values, and goals
  • Innovative and enthusiastic approach to curriculum design and delivery
  • Contribution to extracurricular activities
  • Experience in promoting effective student welfare and behaviour management
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise effectively
  • Ability to teach from a Christian perspective, including teaching Biblical Studies
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • First Aid and CPR certificates or ability to obtain
