We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Academic Support Specialist to join our Learning Mentor Team at Caulfield Grammar School. As an Academic Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in enhancing student learning and wellbeing by working closely with teachers and students.
Key Responsibilities- Create a productive and safe learning environment that fosters academic growth and achievement.
- Develop and implement strategies to support students in developing their General Capabilities/IB MYP Approaches to Learning Skills.
- Provide regular feedback to stakeholders on student progress and development.
- Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours.
- Teaching qualifications with specialisation and experience in a specific learning area.
- Experience embedding the Approaches to Learning (IB) or General Capabilities (ACARA) skills across a broad range of curriculum areas.
- Strong literacy and numeracy teaching experience to support student growth.
- Current VIT Registration.
- Competitive base salary: $95,000 - $110,000 per annum.
