Key Responsibilities:
  • Seek out opportunities for business growth and development, maintaining strong relationships with current clients.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of client needs, preferences, and challenges, using this knowledge to inform sales strategies and negotiations.
  • Negotiate sales agreements and contracts with clients, ensuring that terms are favorable while meeting company goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor crane and lifting equipment solutions to meet client requirements, driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Meet regular performance metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), demonstrating a strong ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of the role.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive success and innovation.
  • Stay up-to-date with Konecranes' product offerings, capabilities, and technological advancements, using this knowledge to effectively communicate their value to clients.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market demand, identifying new sales opportunities and optimizing existing ones.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of sales agreements, from initial negotiation to renewal or termination, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts, maximizing revenue generation and driving business growth.
  • Analyze sales data to track performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and inform data-driven decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably in the industrial equipment or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical abilities, with a strong ability to identify opportunities and solve complex problems.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingsness to travel as needed, with regular travel to Regional Victoria, South Australia, and Tasmania.
