We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic team. As a leading Allied Health practice, we prioritize neurodiversity-affirming care and provide comprehensive speech and language services for children aged 3 to 12 years old.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients with speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results in a neuro-affirming way.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy to patients with various speech and language disorders.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members, including Speech Pathologists and Allied Health Assistants.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and progress reports.
  • Participate in professional development activities to stay current with the latest research and evidence-based practice.
  • Report to the Principal Speech Pathologist and assist with clinical operating procedures, policies, and processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor/Master's degree in Speech Pathology.
  • Certified Practicing Member of Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Working with Children's Check.
  • Eligible to provide services under Medicare.
  • Driver's License.
  • Experience supervising and mentoring junior staff members using adult learning principles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
