Job Opportunity:

Registrar Liaison Officer

This position offers a unique chance to advocate for GP registrars and support medical education initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for the needs of GP registrars participating in RACGP training programs
  • Support the development, updates, and additions of educational materials
  • Provide guidance and answer questions from members, staff, participants, and training organisations
  • Assist with the revision and updating of guides and training materials relevant to learning units
  • Participate in the evaluation and updating of learning resources
  • Support the Training Programs Department with day-to-day queries relating to medical education aspects of the program
  • Collaborate with management to inform quality improvements relevant to practice environment

Requirements:

  • Experience in general practice performance assessment and education/training development
  • Completed at least six months of GP community-based training within the AGPT program
  • Strong communication and advocacy skills
  • PASSion for assisting registrars and GP training
