Advanced Network Security Specialist

This role will play a pivotal part in the network security operations team, handling Level 3 escalations and managing vulnerability and maintenance windows.
With intermediate to professional knowledge in coding/scripting, you will be instrumental in supporting our network automation platform, bolstering databases housing network telemetry and status information.
The ideal candidate is driven by innovation, with a knack for solving intricate challenges. This role offers the perfect avenue to excel.
Key Responsibilities:- Network Security Management: Identify, analyse and manage risk at every aspect of work.
- Network Performance Optimisation: Manage network and security performance by monitoring, troubleshooting, reporting and continuous improvement.
- Hardware and Software Maintenance: Installation, configuration and upgrade hardware, systems and software for networks.
- Security and Access Control: Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access.
- Coding Skills: Python scripting/coding (Intermediate) - primary importance.
- DevOps Tools: BitBucket, Jenkins, JIRA, GitHub, Terraform, Vault.
- Network Security: Operational expertise in the networking domain, showcasing ability to tackle complex network challenges. Experience with F5 load balancer, GTM/LTM, Firewalls - Juniper SRX, Fortinet FortiGate, VMware (now Broadcom) NSX.
- Data Management: Data Collection, Schema Binding, Data Manipulation and Analytical skills.
