About the Role

The State Government of Victoria is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team in the ICT Sourcing department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering ICT goods and services contracts that provide value-for-money to the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to ICT procurement activities to facilitate effective outcomes for departmental business areas.
  • Support the ongoing maintenance of relevant procurement systems and enablers, including the monitoring of performance targets and other key deliverables.
  • Provide practical support in relation to the ICT sourcing activities, including the application of Victorian Government Purchasing Board (VGPB) policies.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably encompassing procurement, supply chain, commerce, law, ICT or business administration.
  • Experience/understanding of government procurement and policies will be highly desirable.
