About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Engineer to join our team at Arcadis. As a key member of our Water team, you will play a critical role in delivering sustainable solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop hydrological and hydraulic flood models and related outputs such as reports.
  • Develop water balance models for simple and complex systems.
  • Contribute to the delivery of flood impact assessments and flood risk management plans as part of Integrated Water Management projects.
  • Work on climate change adaptation, water optimisation and resilience related projects.
  • Coordinate and verify designs including drawings, reports, specifications and studies with project teams working across multiple offices.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a field related to water engineering.
  • Experience with modelling software such as TUFLOW, HEC-RAS, RORB or RAFTS.
  • Programming skills such as using Python.
  • Water balance programs such as Gold Sim.
  • GIS experience (Arc GIS, QGIS or Map Info).
  • Understanding of ARR2019 guidelines.
  • Experience in several facets of the project lifecycle from tendering and concept design through to construction.
