We are seeking a dedicated veterinary care professional to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to animals. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive knowledge of veterinary nursing procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and at least 2+ years of clinical experience.

The successful candidate will be confident in their ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a calm and friendly demeanor. They will be passionate about delivering excellent patient care and contributing to the growth and development of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre- and post-operative care, animal pathology, and emergency and critical care.
  • Performing minor procedures when required.
  • Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment.
  • Handling client enquiries professionally.
Your Skills And Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Knowledge of RX Works (ideal but not essential).
  • Confidence in monitoring anaesthesia.
  • A team player attitude.
