Your Role

This position offers hands-on experience in building design within a collaborative consultancy environment.

  • Contribute to the success of projects or sections, progressing towards responsibility for project sections
  • Apply standard engineering techniques to solve complex problems
  • Support senior engineers with analysis, design production, and calculations
  • Develop calculations and analysis of building structures
  • Assist with preparation of specifications, fee proposals, reports, and other documentation under close supervision
  • Liaise and coordinate with builders, architects, and services engineers on design issues under senior engineer supervision
About You

We are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Graduate membership with Engineers Australia
  • Understanding of BCA and relevant Australian Standards
  • 0-3 years of structural engineering experience
  • Ability to apply theoretical engineering principles to practical situations through analysis and interpretation
  • Problem solving/analytical skills
